IN-HOME PHYSICAL THERAPIST AND MASSAGE THERAPIST

Supporting mamas is what I do.
It's also who I am.
I started Nurturing Mama because I believe mamas deserve more than to just survive. You deserve to be fully supported through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. You deserve a village. And I'd be honored to be part of yours.

My Approach
Nurturing Mama provides a safe, judgment-free space for all bodies. Your home program will fit into your real life, and every session combines movement, education, and hands-on treatment. My goal is to empower you in your pregnant and postpartum body and help you move with strength and confidence.

All sessions are delivered in your home or virtually. My educational classes are held at the University of Evansville's Stone Family Center for Health Services.

Credentials
I'm a certified Perinatal Health Specialist, certified lymphedema therapist, and licensed massage therapist. I've completed extensive continuing education in pelvic health, pregnancy, and postpartum care through programs like Herman & Wallace, Sarah Duvall's Corrective Exercise Specialist program, SpinningBabies, and many more.

A Little More About Me
I'm mama to two boys (Owen and Liam), two guinea pigs (Pip and Squeak), and now a fish (Poseidon). I'm wife to my hard-working and funny husband, Brad, and a follower of Christ.

I love learning, playing board and card games, and being outside. Sweet tea, dill pickles, and Kit Kats are my jam.

Hi, I'm Shandli! I've been specializing in pelvic health and pregnancy/postpartum care for over 12 years. I knew this was my calling during physical therapy school when I first learned about pelvic health and realized I wanted to make a real impact on quality of life for people who are often overlooked.
Early in my career, I worked with mamas dealing with back pain and pelvic pain while still having to function with babies attached to them or toddlers running everywhere. That's when I fell in love with this work. Mamas are so important. We matter. And we deserve to be our best, which means getting the support we need.

I created Nurturing Mama to be part of the village that cares for you. Because when mama is cared for, baby is cared for too.

My passion is nurturing mamas at all stages and supporting those with cancer and cancer survivors. I'd love to support you, too.
